Web Reader Agent

The Web Reader Agent answers user questions by iteratively scraping and analyzing web content.

• The Web Reader Agent is designed to address the challenge of extracting accurate and comprehensive answers to user questions from web content. Often, users need detailed information on a topic but may not know where to look or how to synthesize data from multiple sources. This agent solves the problem by leveraging web scraping to gather relevant information from an initial URL and iteratively exploring additional sources as needed, ensuring a thorough and reliable response.
• To achieve this, the Web Reader Agent uses a structured approach. It begins by processing the provided URL to extract readable content and analyze it for relevance to the user's question. If the initial content is insufficient, the agent identifies new URLs or references within the scraped data and continues the process iteratively. This ensures that the agent gathers enough information to fully answer the question while filtering out irrelevant or redundant data. The agent also validates its findings by cross-referencing multiple sources to resolve any conflicting information, ensuring the final output is both accurate and credible.
• The Web Reader Agent is designed to answer user questions by iteratively extracting and synthesizing content from web pages using a specialized Web Reader tool powered by Jina/Perplexity. Starting from an initial URL, the agent reads, analyzes, and navigates through linked sources to collect accurate and relevant information. It intelligently avoids privacy/cookie pages, filters out noise, cross-validates content across sources, and compiles a structured, citation-backed response. This ensures users receive a complete, accurate, and reference-able answer to their question, even when information is distributed across multiple pages.

1. Select Download.
2. In the Downloading an agent template window, select Download Solution. A .uis file containing the agent definition is downloaded to your machine.
3. Agent templates can also include Extras, a separate package containing assets for your agent (automations, custom escalations). Select Download Extras. A .zip file is downloaded to your machine.
4. In Studio Web, import the Agent definition .uis file as described in Importing a project downloaded from Studio Web.
5. If there are extras to upload, go to Solutions. For details, refer to Accessing the Solutions UI.
6. Upload the .zip file, as explained in Transporting a solution package, then deploy the solution. For details, refer to Deploying the solution.
7. You can now access your agent template from Studio Web and add any other tools deployed to your tenant.
